O que é o First Conditional?
O First Conditional é usado para:

Eventos futuros possíveis → "If it rains, we will stay inside."
-
Consequências prováveis → "If you study, you will pass the exam."
-
Avisos e promessas → "If you touch that, you will get burned!"
Estrutura do First Conditional
If + present simple, will + verbo base
Examples:

If you eat too much, you will feel sick.
-
If she calls me, I will answer.
-
If they win the game, they will be champions.
Tip: A oração com "if" descreve a condição (present simple), e a oração principal mostra o resultado (will + verbo base).
Variações do First Conditional
1. Usar "can", "may" ou "might" em vez de "will"

If you study, you can pass the exam. (Ability)

If you hurry, you might catch the train. (Possibility)

If it’s sunny, we may go to the beach. (Possibility)
2. Usar o imperativo

If you see Tom, tell him to call me.

If you finish early, come and help me.
3. Usar "unless" (= if not)

Unless you study, you will fail. (= If you don’t study, you will fail.)

Unless it rains, we will have a picnic. (= If it doesn’t rain, we will have a picnic.)

Tip: Se o resultado é sempre verdadeiro, usa o Zero Conditional. Se é possível mas não certo, usa o First Conditional.
Regra: NUNCA uses "will" depois de "if"! A oração com "if" está sempre no present simple.
