Als Hauptsubjekt
I teach English online.
They play basketball after school.
Mit zusammengesetzten Subjekten

It’s me who called yesterday. (informal, common in spoken English)

Subjektpronomen und Verbkongruenz
Das Verb muss mit dem Subjektpronomen übereinstimmen:
I play piano.
He / She / It plays piano.
We / You / They play piano.
Beachte, dass nur he, she und it im Present Simple die Endung -s erhalten.
Häufige ESL-Fehler mit Subjektpronomen
WRONG: Me like pizza.
CORRECT: I like pizza.
WRONG: Her is my teacher.
CORRECT: She is my teacher.
WRONG: My brother he lives in Canada.
CORRECT: My brother lives in Canada.
