Usiamo in, on e at per dire dove si trovano le persone o le cose. Vanno sempre prima dei nomi.
Examples

Usiamo in per indicare un luogo che si trova all’interno di uno spazio più grande (una stanza, un edificio, una città, un paese, ecc.).
Examples:

She’s cooking in the kitchen.

There’s a cinema in the shopping mall.
-
My uncle was born in Canada.
Usiamo in anche con:

in the world
-
in the sea / a river / a lake
-
in the forest / mountains / countryside

Usiamo on quando qualcosa si trova su una superficie.
Examples:
