O que é o tempo Present Perfect?

Usamos o tempo Present Perfect para falar sobre:

1. ações que começaram no passado e continuam agora
I have lived in London for five years. (I still live there.)

2. experiências passadas (sem dizer quando aconteceram)
She has visited Japan. (No specific time.)

3. ações que acabaram de acontecer (passado recente)
I have just finished my homework.

4. ações que aconteceram no passado, mas afetam o presente
He has lost his keys. (He still doesn’t have them.)

Como formar o Present Perfect

A fórmula é: [Subject] + [have/has] + [past participle]

Examples:

  • I have seen that movie before.

Past Participle – o que é?

O past participle é a terceira forma do verbo. Alguns verbos seguem um padrão regular (terminação -ed), mas muitos são irregulares.
