attend | to go to an event such as a meeting or a class | Do you ever attend trade fairs or conferences? |
auditorium | the part of a theatre where people sit when watching a play, concert etc | He wants to see the main auditorium and check the facilities before his talk on Wednesday morning. |
catch up | to come from behind and reach someone in front of you by going faster | We'll catch up again later. |
check in | if you check in or are checked in at a hotel or airport, you go to the desk and report that you have arrived | First of all, I'll check in at the hotel, so that I can freshen up. |
