How to Play Brick Breaker

To complete a level, you must clear every single brick from the board. However, you must stay alert: if the ball slips past your paddle and falls off the bottom of the screen, you lose a life. Power-Ups and Bonuses

As you break through the wall of bricks, certain blocks will release falling power-ups. Collecting these items with your paddle can grant you temporary abilities that change the dynamic of the game. For example, some power-ups expand the width of your paddle to give you a wider defensive area, while others split your ball into three for rapid-fire destruction. You might even find laser blasters that allow you to shoot blocks directly.

Be careful, though, as not all falling items are helpful. Some drops can shrink your paddle or accelerate the ball, making it much harder to react in time.

Tips to Beat Every Level

Mastering the more challenging stages requires a mix of patience and strategic aiming. A highly effective technique is targeting the far left or right corners of the brick wall. If you can guide the ball through a narrow gap near the ceiling, it will bounce rapidly behind the bricks, clearing a large portion of the board with minimal effort.

Additionally, pay attention to how you strike the ball. Hitting the ball with the center of your paddle sends it relatively straight up, while hitting it with the very edge of the paddle deflects it at a sharp angle. Learning to control these angles is essential for targeting those final, hard-to-reach bricks.
