legroom | space for your legs in front of the seats in a car, theatre etc | The aisle seat offers a little more legroom. |
middle seat | a seat in between two other in a three or more seat block on a plane | My seat was broken and I had to go in a middle seat between two very large people. |
missed connection | a connection flight on the way to final destination you did not take because you was late | He didn't come to the meeting because he had a missed connection in Paris and couldn't get to London in time. |
occupy | to take a seat | There was nobody occupying the seats next to me on the plane. |
past | further than a particular place | Go past the registrations office and turn right. |
prepared | ready to do something or deal with a situation | Many customers are not prepared to pay to take extra baggage. |
priority check-in | is an arrangement which allows a guest to check in without waiting in a line | Go to the priority check-in. It will be quicker. |
provisional schedule | a schedule serving for the time being | This is the provisional schedule, and we can decide the details later. |
registrations office | a place or desk where you can book in at a hotel or register at an event, or find out more details about the event | Excuse me. I'm looking for the registrations office for the conference. |
seat upgrade | to give someone a better seat on a plane | Do you sometimes pay more for a seat upgrade to a more comfortable part of the plane? |
security scan | a test for unallowed items in your luggage | They saw something strange in my suitcase at the security scan, so they asked me to open it. |
self-service check-in | is a service which allows you to check in using various methods and avoid long queues at the airport | You can avoid waiting in line if you use the airline's self-service check-in to get your boarding pass. |

upgrade | an occasion when someone is given a better seat on a plane, or a better rented car, than the one they paid for | I got a free upgrade to First Class. |
weight restrictions | a rule that limits how much your hand baggage can weight | There are weight restrictions on your hand baggage. |
